Bookings
Please complete one booking form per family or household group. The form will ask for adult details, children attending, accommodation preferences, medical and dietary needs, emergency contact details and anything that will help us support your family during the retreat.
Once submitted, your booking request will be reviewed by the retreat team. A sevadaar will then contact you directly to confirm availability, discuss the cost for your family and explain how to make payment.
Submitting the form does not automatically confirm your place. Your booking is only confirmed once the retreat team has reviewed your details and contacted you directly.
About the retreat
The Sikh Family Retreat has been created to give families meaningful time together in a spiritually uplifting environment. Across the retreat, families will have the opportunity to learn, reflect, take part in activities and spend time with other families who are also trying to strengthen their connection with Sikhi and each other.
The retreat is not simply a weekend away. It is a chance to build sangat, create memories and give children and young people positive experiences of Sikh values, identity and community.
Families from different stages of their Sikhi journey are welcome. Whether your family is just beginning to learn or already has a strong connection with Gurbani, Sikh history and Punjabi, the retreat is designed to be welcoming, supportive and accessible.
What you will experience
The retreat will include a mixture of family sessions, children's activities, reflective discussions, time in sangat and opportunities to learn more about Sikhi in a practical and engaging way.
Spend time with other families in a warm, welcoming and supportive environment.
Explore Sikh teachings, history, values and identity in a way that is meaningful for both adults and children.
Age-appropriate activities will help children and young people feel included, engaged and inspired.
Create space for families to pause, reflect and reconnect with what matters most.
Accommodation will be allocated by the organising team based on availability, family size and suitability.
A sevadaar will follow up after your booking form is submitted to discuss your family's needs and next steps.
Why this matters
Modern family life is busy. The Sikh Family Retreat gives families dedicated time to step away from normal pressures and spend time together in an environment shaped by Sikh values.
For children and young people, the retreat can help make Sikhi feel alive, relevant and positive. For adults, it offers time to reflect, learn and connect with other parents and families.
The aim is for every family to leave with stronger bonds, new friendships, deeper inspiration and memories they can carry forward.
